Tunza Kenya (TK) is a public outreach programme that seeks a holistic approach to addressing issues of mental health, largely presenting as depression across society today.

What society sees as socially deviant behaviour is essentially a result of underlying factors that need professional attention. These include behaviours such as irrational violence, suicide, drug abuse, alcoholism, family breakdowns, juvenile aggression, homicide, and other related results of such unaddressed challenges.

Unfortunately, these cases are largely unnoticed, ignored, or treated as criminal. Worse still, many affected people are going through life unaware of their depressed mental state, only to be realized when catastrophe happens.

It’s this time bomb, already a devastating silent killer, which Tunza Kenya seeks to conclusively and holistically address. Depression is real and needs urgent taming before it escalates to more horrific proportions.
